How do I capture stable readings at low notes?
Ensure your device mic isn’t obstructed, reduce room noise. Low-note assist is built-in. For pianos, hold notes a bit longer for stable detection.
The app crashes when I close the window (macOS)
Please update to the latest version. If it persists, email support with your macOS version and steps to reproduce.
Does Octave Scope work offline?
Yes. All processing is on-device. Support email works via your mail app.

Privacy

On-device processing. Octave Scope performs audio analysis entirely on your device. No servers process your data.

No tracking SDKs. The app does not include third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Email communication. When you contact support, your email address and message are used solely to assist you. We do not sell or share your information.
